14 pairs of acetate bee wings perfect for all your crafting needs

Every little bumble bee needs a beautiful pair of wings. I designed these sheets after I needed some bee wings quickly for several needle felted bees I was creating and I am delighted to be able to offer them to you at a special introductory price

These wings have the front and rear wings joined together so you do not need to cut out 4 separate wings. However, if you would like too, you can cut carefully between the front and rear wing and separate them.

I cut out each wing separately and popped a little glue at the end of the wing to secure on the body of my bee. I then added a little more wool over to hide the end. If you leave a little tab of the clear acetate at the end of the wing it makes it easier to insert them. You can of course cut straight across the top and bottom of the wings and leave them joined together in the middle. This would work well if sticking on to cards, using with polymer clay or sticking onto the back of a small doll.

If you cut the wing with the white paper behind they are easier to see.

The wings are supplied with a hint of colour to them as seen in the photos. You can do so much with these if you would like to alter them to suit your style. Please see photos for examples of Stickles glitter added for a sparkly wing on the bee on its own. The bee in the flower has plain wings. I have also included photos of embossed wings using an embossing tool, and all the sparkly nail varnish you never wear works very well. I would paint it first then cut out. You can also colour with marker pens and stick jewels on.

Each wing is approx 2.5 cm, please refer to photos. They are printed on good quality acetate on an inkjet printer. Size is A5
